We present our ongoing research developments in disciplinary practices. Design-based research (DBR) is the research method that we follow in our research group. Our adaptation of the phases in DBR cycles is presented in the method section. Based on research studies and theses of our Ph.D. research scholars we have theorized the LEAP model. It describes a typical learner pathway for development of disciplinary practices. In this section we have summarized our research findings from the various disciplinary practices in engineering and science.
